Newbie in manchester

Hello just bought a mk7 st replica picking it up at the weekend.
Anything I should be aware of with them, or make my first job etc?, it used to be a post office van I think in its previous life so I'm guessing the service history should be quite good and it's just been resprayed with the st kit fitted, I'm hoping it's not speed restricted but I'll probably get it remapped to 110 or higher and that should remove the limit at the same time I presume?..
