newly bought mk7 transit 56 plate

Postby kingswood » Sun Nov 05, 2017 2:45 pm

Hi all I'm Kingswood and own a pretty high mileage transit swb mk7 130 t260s . Recently purchased ((with a few issues for free !!!!!)) .
1, starts after 5/6 turns of starter first thing afer hat it starts great all day , so assuming glowplugs ???
2, the vents on dash have a wheel besides them and one does not appear connected and need to know how to remove facia to remedy this.

your knowledge would be appreciated guys/gals (yes females do drive transits too lets not forget !!.)

not likely to be a glow plug issue
more likely to me a air leak in the fuel system somewhere
start at the filter head

Checked fuel lines and no air visibly present.
also did check injectors for fit, and airtight so no leaks around bases of injectors.
pulled each connector off injectors and engine stalls on each occasion so all injectors working.
any more advice on this would be greatful. cheers for input though Dodgy01
