I'm based in Medway, Kent and just got myself a new transit (2015 L3H3 rwd) which is going to be converted into a camper. Not had a van for a while, my last two were a Mk2 motorhome and before that a 1978 Mk1 motorhome, which eventually rotted beyond repair and had to go about 18 years ago.
Here it is with me trying to get on top of the rust around the cab...
Loved those vans as they were so simple to work on - I'm no mechanic but with a little help I could do most things necessary to keep it going - the Mk8 mostly confuses me with its smart alternators and stuff, so I'm here to get help as I go through the build which is still in the planning phase.
