Slightly belated intro post

Postby khaito » Mon Apr 09, 2018 6:16 pm

Realised that I've posted a couple of things but haven't actually introduced myself here. :D

My name's Robyn and I'm a new owner of a 2003 MK6 Ford Transit which I'm planning to convert into a camper (like many, many other people these days it seems). I'm currently doing prep work for it's MOT which is due end of this month and there's also some questionable bits and pieces on the van which I'm going to have to fix (think it used to be a service vehicle of some kind as there's extra lights behind the grill, switches on the dash and cut wires all over the shop :o ).

Anyhoo, on a more personal note, I'm a 31 year old Scottish lass who currently lives & works in London as an IT infrastructure engineer. I've got a bit of experience/history with cars - almost entirely rebuilt a 1991 Rover Mini Neon as my first car with my dad & bro's help and then had two BMW 3 series (which both got rebuilt too - which hadn't been the plan!), a 1993 E36 then a 1999 E46, and now I've got a transit.

So, hi!

Welcome to the forum Robyn :D

With a 2003 Mk6, lets hope it's not Southampton built, unless you're great at welding  :P :)

I haven't touched a welder in about 12 years, but I'm sure I can remember what end to hold.
