Hi every one, I'm Steve. I have just purchased a MRK 7 transit, 115t330 mwb medium roof, the 2.2.fwd model. I have owned a transit in the past, but never like this, so I am kind of new to them and using forums like this.
I had a 30 year old land rover defender up to last week, but following a motorcycle accident 2 years ago it got too hard to drive with the heavy clutch. My new transit is like driving a car, warm, dry and quick.
I plan to convert my transit into a day van/camper, so will have loads of questions for you all. I did look at buying one done but couldn't afford anything so my 5k budget all went on the van, this way I know mechanically its sound, its tidy looking too.

I have a few questions already, like how do I find out how to check the connections for the fitted reverse parking censors?
Any recommendations for swivel seats?
Any recommendations for side window supplier and fitters?
Recommendations for split charging, electrical hook up?
Insulation and carpeting companies?

Just as importantly where is the best place in the forum to post these kind of questions?

I am a small appliance engineer, having changed my work following the accident and PTSD. The day van conversion is so my wife and I and the dogs can go up to walk the brecon beacons, snowden and the lake district, after my hip operation later this year.
