Hi all, newbie to this site but not forums in general.
I now have a 2018 Transit Custom Limited auto
Thinking about lowering maybe 50mm or so as it’s actually higher than the brochure/official figures stated.
Looking at making it more mine too, as they say.
Always found forums a useful source of information and I’m sure the Transit one will be no different.

Hi, I needed to lower my 2017 Transit Custom because it was scraping on the roof of my garage
Somehow I found a link to Midland Road Springs Station Road Coleshill Birmingham B46 1JG Tel. 01675 467 387
I made an appointment with them and was waiting for them to open at 8am last Friday morning
They take off your original springs and modify them and fit them back on again at a very reasonable price, cheaper than buying new springs and having the trouble of having them fitted
I wanted to watch the process but I sat in the shade and had some breakfast and when I finished they had finished too.
I can't notice any difference in the handling, the van now backs into the garage without having to carry about 200kg of water in drums to keep the suspension low.
I wish I knew of them before I damaged the paintwork on my roof
The only problem was finding them on the sat nav in the last 1/4 mile, they are tucked away in the corner of an Industrial Estate
Well worth the drive from Durham to Birmingham to have the job done
