I'm Andy, recently purchased an old campervan for me to have adventures with my aging doggie!
It has all the mod cons and in it's day was probably the 'Bee's Knees' of campervan...but alas time, progress and increased luxury requirements of the modern day traveler makes my wagon an antique I think!!!
Still its a 1988/89 T120 frame with a 2.5cc Diesel engine... incredibly noisy to drive and have to hope that there's a fair wind behind and down hill slope to get the speed to get up the next hill...forget about overtaking anything
I am though trying to research whether a newer generation Transit engine would reasonably easy fit in without much or any modifications to the engine & Gearbox & brake departments...
Any knowledge or info on the possibility would be appreciated ... especially if a 2.2/2.4 TDi would fit from the newer generations!
