Another great weekend had by all and 'The King' had his welding class running again!
Nice to see faces 'new' and 'old', I hope we all left with more than we came.

Stay safe,

Was good to meet a few forum members today, shame I couldn't stay and help not that I think I wouldve been any help lol.
Hopefully the next makeover is in the same place and I don't have the kids that day!

`yep, the project van is now ready for an MOT(fingers crossed).Great to see everyone, new faces and old.No names mentioned. You would have thought that a re-build was going to be a doddle with two complete Mk4`s and all the parts, donated, scrounged and bought. How wrong can you be.Missing interior trim,SLD runner/rail,seat belts and stalks, not to mention different rear doors and glass and even same coded paint from suppliers that produce a totally different white.Anyway we got it sorted, even though the rear doors need work, but they`ll do for the MOT.
We still don`t have a custom front bumper and now mysteriously the bespoke rear bumper with a recessed, lit number plate has vanished.Anyone got any photos of this?
We do have plenty of "piccies"of the rest of the builds, some that have appeared on here.

Who had the keys, was last to leave and lock up :?: :?: :?:

Thanks again to proprietor for the unit and the big tools ( I said no names)

Just the interior to go now.

Cheers guys.

How has the rear bumper gone missing? It was fitted when I left in the afternoon!

Oh well, it was a great weekend again anyway and it should be street legal next time we work on it. :)
Good to see the build mob again, Old faces and New, but someone really needs to get a grip on his "Baked Beans Addiction" . . . . . . .

It was good to meet a few of the forum members for the first time and everyone was friendly and welcoming to a new face. I enjoyed myself and learnt a few things as well, I will deffinately be up for the next one and would thoroughly recommend it to any one else who is thinking of going along for the first time.
