County 4x4, yes mate, post a link up as I have only just found out how to do it, (thanks to Altransit  ).

So just for the swarming hoard of interested parties coming this weekend to get covered in paint and filler, here's the link for the address . . . . .

viewtopic.php?f=63&t=94153

on one of the threads i think AlanN posted a link with Google Maps so we could see where the Unit is, but i haven't found that one yet. i'll add it if i find it, feel free to post it if "you" get there first. :) (the link)

Well I have been up in kent today, and there is a lack of support :(

Tim,
Me,
Vandalism + Dad
And County4x4 (from about 5pm)

As I was leaving the bonnet was being primed and the side loading door was next in line.

When I got there I was most upset to see that our prepped, rot free, rear doors (which were painted inside) had "magically" transformed in to ones that looked exactly like the ones on the white van in the pic below! (same rot, same red oxide in the same place...) None of us were particularly happy!

I know the weekend build doors haven't ended up on this van - but we suspect we know where they have gone...

probably in the bin, lets face it, from what I remember of them, they would have needed 5Kg of filler.
Not sure what your trying to say matt, more feckin gossip, I had new doors on my van.
I know Nick wouldnt have used them, they where really dented, they certainly didnt go on my van...

If you notice Alan, I did say they wern't on your van

I know the weekend build doors haven't ended up on this van

I found one of your new doors on ebay and did a ~80mile round trip to get it for you!

If so much filler was needed... why were the backs painted at the essex build? (According to people who were there...). I saw the prepped doors on the back of the 6 wheeler heading to essex.

http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q141 ... er2003.jpg (not the best pic, but you can see that the drivers side one was prepped).

The bottom line is, that we have ended up with rear door which were in a much worse condition, and not prepped. Meaning that we have had to do fix the doors (and tbh we didn't have time to fix them properly) and prep them AGAIN.

I think we are lacking the rear hinges now as well?? Anyone got some?
