Do we have an address yet Tim?

Address?
We don't even have a van yet   .......still awaiting confirmation from Pete at Reading re collecting the van.

Billy Boy at Northampton says he requires a couple of days notice, otherwise we are 'good to go'.

Be good to have you on board again 'County'.

Better takes lots of pictures because you will not/cannot take pictures at the factory.I think there may well be some press style prints available though.

That's good i just found my Dad's old DJ.

dieselhead123 wrote:Hi transit people,

Hopefully most of you will be aware of the Forum Makeover Van, a project built by forum members over a number of weekends, originally started in Sheffield.

The van has moved around the county to various different sites where work has been carried out on the van to get it to the condition it is now.
The idea of moving the van to different locations around the country has allowed forum members from different areas to be able to attend without the need to travel vast distances.

Today I have sent a pm to Pete at the BMW garage in Reading who has kindly hosted a few of the most recent weekends and been good enough to store the van up until now.

We will be arranging to transport the van to a address in Northampton where another forum member has kindly offered the use of his facilities so that work can continue.
The outcome of these messages will be posted up in this thread together with a date for the next weekend.

This is a great chance to come along and join in the fun, meet other forum members, offer your skills and learn from others.

I appreciate that in these difficult economic times, there may be many of you out there who are concerned about the cost of involvement, but I can assure you all that ALL are welcome, all you need bring is yourself and any tools that you feel you can use productively.

We normally complete each day with a barby, giving us the opportunity to chat about the thing we love most, our Transits!

Please check this thread regularly for updates,

Happy Transiting

TIM

I think that the Factory closing BBQ event would be a fantastic time to show the completed Makeover Van.So let`s make a concerted effort in early 2013 to get it finished.
