Look in here for details of the fourms weekend makeover project. We will be doing a Transit restoration project over a few weekends and auctioning it off for charity once completed. Everyone is welcome to come along and take part.

I'd gladly do the paintwork if were closer.

Unfortunately its a 6hr round trip for me. :(

Paul would you be able to do the paint if we got the doors to you?

i could swap them for some spares and if we could arrange couriering them over (and back) it could work :idea:

it is really the main job left on the van - the roof needs painting but even i could do that :lol: bits below head height im not too keen on :lol:

If you can get the doors to me, I will paint them up no problem :wink:

Have they already been prepped ?

the side door is basically fully painted but the wrong colour - the rear doors on the van need work but gaz (mrrvm) has a pair we can use :D

That's no problem. if you can get door across including paint. if there's any repair work required, also high build primer.

I assume colour is Ford Diamond white :?: 2k paint :?:

Ok I know we're all busy, especially now In The run up to Christmas.

But if it makes any difference to getting a date organised I'm off for a fortnight over the Christmas period as I'm sure a few of you's are?

And I'd be happy to come down then if not before? I'll be getting dragged down to The in laws at Carlisle which is Halfway there and I'll be honest, any reason to get away would be awesome!! :lol:
