We need to get this organised for this meet - no good having it if we can't get these jobs done

let's assume it will pass the MOT (even if it fails unless its something major  i'll get it sorted :D )

we 100% need a good painter - thats the main job we need the doors painting :!: also if anyone can do these but can't come to the meet at Karls i would be able to bring them to you (providing its not too far)

other stuff like the ply lining and interior fit would be great to get done too.

Luke wrote:right Karl needs to sort a date for this - what we need is a 2 part list - those who are definitley coming and those who would like to but can't be certain - that way we can arrange the date around those who will definitely be there

copy and paste the list and add your name

Spoke to Karl this morning and obviously no point in me taking the trip down this weekend if van not there (have to work now anyway :( ) so will wait till later (once van gets to his place) assuming (once its there) van is left at Karl's place for a while, even if I cant make a weekend then I can still prepare/fit the new rear doors and other stuff on my own during the week, if no one else can do a week day at the time (I have another 2 weeks off starting at the Mot date for the van but "might" have to work night bus both weeks) so plenty of opportunities to get down and do something (and sundays are free even if I work weekends) :)

I'll do the ply lining no probs, but I'll work wise till the end of the month and off to Malta after! So I'd need to see what dates suit everyone? :D

Ideally mid October?

nice one 8) i'll put you on the list provisionally until we sort out a date :D

what do we need plywood wise? i can get the sheets before the build and keep them in the back of the van - ive sealed the roof since Transitmania so anything kept inside stays dry :D

If you get a rough length inside we can work it out but o reckon 3x 1/2" for the floor and maybe 5x 1/4" for the rest?

Well despite being on holiday (again :) ) for the next 2 weeks, I still have to work the nightbus next weekend :( but the weekend after ( 2nd, 3rd and 4th Oct) is my next long weekend off anyway so that will be my best chance of a weekend's involvement, but if it can be got to Karls place in the week before that then I can get on with changing the doors and sorting the roof in prep for painting as I'm coming down to do other stuff for Karls truck and my van (might also be in the area this coming week too) :!:
