what tools can you lend to the project?

Look in here for details of the fourms weekend makeover project. We will be doing a Transit restoration project over a few weekends and auctioning it off for charity once completed. Everyone is welcome to come along and take part.

Unfortunately I missed Transitmania so Im thinking Billing fireworks night if I bring the paint over Billing then someone can take it for the project Luke?

im a mobile mechanic, so have got engine crain heavy duty welder, tools, spray guns, most of my tools from when i shut my garage, but no 2 poster lift :lol:
as long as my tools are treated with respect as 99% are snap on then no problem, :D :D

Just bought myself a little inverter arc welder and a compressor. I'll happily bring them along for the build :mrgreen:

Ive got a grass rake,3 storey ladder,cement mixer and a whacker plate.....if we need em. :mrgreen:

Whacker will be handy for the bodywork when the van gets rolled on its side :D

i have a mig welder well i call it mi as it take no gas :? but it is for think steal
A nibbler for cutting metal
a few air tool and loads of other tools i'll put the lot in the van and hope i don't get stop on the way :lol:

just reading through this and noticed quite a few are bringing airtools,ive got a ingersol rand roadside air compressor 2cyl deutz engine i use for sandblasting. not sure on exact output but it would cope with a fair few air ratchets and a couple of spray guns running of it.your welcome to use it.

Go for it. It'll save running 100 compressors :D
