Say u guys who have built the van, organise a relay, Lands End to John o Groats.
Would prob raise a good few quid in sponsorship, If the van has forum decals it raises the groups profile, and it gives all those who so kindly gave up their time, labour, parts, and money all a chance to have a drive of the van.
Van can still be auctioned off at the end.
Charity wise, Help for Heros is a popular choice it seems, could be worth thnking along lines of beaulieu too, prob not the sort of charity that automatically springs to mind, but we are all vehicle enthusiasts, and anyone who has been there will appreciate what they do.
Good idea
Sounds like a great idea to raise extra cash.
But we still need to decide on "The Good Cause".
i'm all for ferreting around for small, dedicated, real hands on groups. in aid of Kids or Young dependent people.
It also may be easier to get more support for these sort of groups to stir up interest in any form of sponsored event, were that route to be taken.
