Telford Transit wrote:ive got a double rock n roll bed that came out of a mk6,

its wood framed, covered in red fake leather, was made by a decent carpenter

sink, fiamma table,gas stove etc

also got a set of electric windows if you are still considering them??

if theres anything else you are short of ive got loads of parts/tourneo/camper bits available

Thanks for offering these, they sound like just what we might need. Not sure whether we have anyone in Shropshire but we do have some of the team in the Midlands,so not too far to collect from.Unless you would like to be involved.!

whats left to do on the beast?

id of liked to have got involved earlier in the project, she looked great at Billing, grinders and welders are right up my street

not great with carpet and wood work

having said that id happily run anything down to the next build, just to be nosey if nothing else!

any ideas on where/when the next build is?

anything required theres a chance i may have, we have 4,000sq ft of transit parts

Yes it was great to see you all at Billing(maybe again this year)was a shame about the rain storms and you having to cover up all your parts. Now people know who you are they will be more forthcoming asking for parts,i`m sure.do you now have a more varied selection instead of the Mk6 stuff that was at Billing ,or was that because you just didn`t know what to bring?

thats exactly the problem, didnt know what to bring, the phone ring constantly for mk6/7 stuff so assumptions were made!

i have stock piled a load of mk3/4/5 parts new and 2nd hand ready for this year, hopefully get abit of mk1/2 by august!

we have much more mk7 stuff now as they are starting to come as breakers now

we wont be bringing as much stuff but hopefully a better selection

hopefully my little project will be finished for the show aswell, mk6 fwd with mk7 front, rear and dash/seats with a matching transit trailer
van itself is practically finished(well on the road, few minor jobs) just the trailer to do now

if you want to work out anything required for the six wheeler, let me know and ill see what i can help with
got a nice set of mk4 tourneo seats (rs turbo style fabric) fronts and 2nd row

Mk4 rear tailgate is a thought for project van.Have you got one?Reading will def be next build thanks to Pete and guys at Grosvenor/Vincent.They have been absolute fantastic hosts to us.Needs to warm up a bit for me though(sleeping outside in the van) before we get the next build sorted. Will be great to see a selection of parts at Billing.................sure you will be asked for certain parts from now on.

COLD! You load of wusses
Get a nice warm Tourneo to sleep in, then you will be ok

Re Telford Transit;
What a generous offer :D :D
it will be great to have you on board, the more the merrier!

As regards the interior, there are a pair of front step covers on the old Surrogate, (Mk5), they seem to be quite sought after, will they fit the van, or am I missing some important minor difference?

Tha'ts exactly what I was thinking.
I can do any combination of these colours
Royal blue cyan
Aquamarine green
orange
blue
green
purple
yellow
white
warm white
red
pink
and can even do colour change ones!

I dont keep all the colours but can get hold of them with a couple of days notice

this is just the normal blue and red leds
