Look in here for details of the fourms weekend makeover project. We will be doing a Transit restoration project over a few weekends and auctioning it off for charity once completed. Everyone is welcome to come along and take part.

as you'll know there is no mains power at the unit :( i've managed to borrow a 3phase one from work - it should power a couple of welders and a compresser

but ............... ideally we could do with a few on site so if you have one and can bring it along - even if its only as a back up then post a reply to this thread :D

ive got a number to a man selling some 5.5 kv ones nielsen for 150 if you get really stuck

I have a small one I can lend.
Hopefully Alistair's picking up foam from me on way up, so I'll have it ready :-)
It'll power a couple of drills/jigsaws/lights whatever.

nice one paul 8) i've had the large one running over the weekend tonight i'll test it's ok with a compresser and a welder :D
