they have a second air filter

just serviced one today took the air filter lid off and noticed a square bit of plastic had been added to the lid so opened it and inside is another little air filter bout 2inch wide and 3 long it was clogged up on a van with 17k on so cleaned it out and refitted has anyone come across this yet and what the purpose of it is i phoned ford parst and the claim they have never sold one evan the parts guy had no idea of this filter so i ordered one any way. 16 pound thow

Thats weird, two tanks (euro 6 adblue), two air filters, whats next? Is someone gonna find another engine in the rear?

Is that not from the crank case breather?

this is the filter i brought it yesterday it sits directly on top of aire filer housing no pipes going to it its part of the lid
