They said they unbolted it and have a 1 inch gap. Still wouldn’t run.

So still not running...now the dealer says the rail pressure spikes to 40k psi and then it cuts off.

They supposedly changed the fuel pressure sensor and the fuel, control valve. Any ideas on what else can cause the raise pressure to go so high?

Any ideas on this rail pressure issue? Dealer doesn’t know what to do next and I’m getting ready to drag it out of there..

Dealer was even saying that because my brake pads are low that the van won’t start.. bunch of fools!!!

Not sure if the low fuel lamp is on, but I know there is more than 5 gallons in there.

Thanks for the info Karl.

I did some stuff today. Pulled one injector out and connected it so it will fire out of the cylinder. I found that it will fire 3 times and then stop. Something is telling the pcm to stop firing the injectors when cranking. I see when cranking it has desired rail pressure some 22000bar or something like that. However, the actual pressure will exceed, it will go to 80k or more..

I read that the fuel control valve sometimes gets gummed up and causes issues. Thinking of removing that and see fmimcan clean it up.

Also is fuel supposed to come out of the injector return when the ignition is on? That seemed odd to me.

Anyone know of a specialist that I can contact to get info on these vans? Dealer here is useless and no one has the info I need to figure out what’s wrong.. I’m willing to pay as well.

What's brake fluid level like with you say low brake pads, I used to have a movano that wouldn't start when the brake fluid level was low due to low pads had me baffled for hours don't know weather transits do the same

Running for a second and cutting out, does sound like a crank sensor problem. Maybe broken with the impact?
