Of they sold the 3.2 litre diesel here I'd have bought that.

It's a shame we only get a 2.0 engine but the US gets proper engines.

You wouldn't think it'd be that hard to get a 3.5 eco boost shipped over to the Turkey plant or wherever ours are made.

You’d expect them to be Left Hand drive if done for USA you’d probably need one from Australia if they have them out there

Good idea, but they don't get it either by the look of it.

Does anyone have an email address for someone high up in Ford? :D

Had a good little email chat with Andy Barratt.

Very impressed how quickly he replied, especially on a Sunday.

Well his minions never got my van back on the road any quicker when waiting for the replacement engine !
14 weeks and when I picked it up on Oct 9th the engineer told me he had vehicles there waiting for parts that had been there since January so I must count myself lucky could have been worse !

It's a US-spec big Transit with the 2.3 Ecoboost motor out of the poverty-spec Mustang. The US market get's lots of petrol engine'd options that we don't get in the UK.

Mind you, Pendle Performance and the like will raise any of the Euro 5 2.2 lumps to just shy of 190hp so with that on tap you'll soon be flying.
