But aren't service intervals a lot longer on trucks (Scania etc ) ?

i couldn't answer that BUT what i do know is every scania at http://www.ppoconnor.co.uk/ have services every 6 months and have to have 6 weekly checks :D

so any issues are addressed and repaired accordingly to the fitter carrying out the inspection :D every machine is done every 500 hrs as said above

and the ones i do for Patterson plant is the same and inspected every 2 weeks

Afternoon Parishioners. :D

I see the Mk8 Euro VI has extended intervals of 2 years/36k miles.

Does anyone know if the Euro VI is using a different oil pump/oil/oil filter :?:

I've modified my tone regarding the Roadside Assistance....but if you are shelling out £100 a time for an "Interim Inspection" the Roadside Assistance is not free (or have I missed something). :P

No....you can have service work done within the warranty period by an Independent garage that has Ford approval. :D
