Temperature control panel

We have recently purchased a '63 plate Transit Jumbo. Has some mod cons ( heated windscreen, reverse beep etc) but driving when it is dark the temperature controls are not visible. Are there fuses or bulbs that deal with them? It seems odd you can't see where the knobs are or what temperature you want.

No lights with the headlamps on?

Yes. Driving when it is dark outside ( early morning, evenings) can't see the knobs, you have to feel around for them.

Take it to the dealer, something is wrong, they should light up with lights on.

Thanks, I reckoned they should as it does seem odd. I will speak with garage.

Not sure if yours is the same but on my 66 plate the temperature control lights only get illuminated if the headlights are on. If I select Auto headlights and it is not dark enough outside for the headlights to come on automatically then temperature control lights stay unilluminated .
