MK8 wing mirror indicator lens

Hi, I'm a regular on the Mk7 part of this forum and a possible MK8 owner soon (need a new van after christmas).

Today I hit a customers vehicle, only a small touch and the first bump I've had in ages. Nothing too serious, just broke his N/S indicator lens on the wing mirror.
I noticed another thread asking about replacing one of these but no details of how to fix it, if anyone could post up the part of the handbook that shows you how to do this that would be really helpful, I've ordered the part and hope to put fit it for him on monday.

I also have to hand a copy of the mk8 handbook (borrowed this morning from a mk8 driver at work). I still cant find and helpful details in it regarding removing the mirror glass so if anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated.
