I can understand the massive amount of money it costs to change so often.
I told my dealer to do an oil change (I don't think that the first oil in the motor should be there for 37000 miles) and it was bloody expensive.
The engine holds 8.3 liters  and costed me 411 euros. That included a filter....... :|

Euro6 ofc.

Mine takes 10 litres of oil, 2.2 euro6

If it's Euro 6 it's a 2.0.

No, its 2.2, its the same 2.2 as the euro 5 version except it uses adblue, which in turn makes it euro 6.
If you want i can take a photo of the sticker on the timing chain cover.

All mk8 minibuses came out with the 2.2 in 125 or 155bhp with adblue, making them euro 6 compliant, even now that the 2.0 is available, the minibuses will still be sold with the 2.2 euro 6.

Here's the etis of my minibus:

Cheers. Every day's a school day :D

Now I think about it, there was something on here a few years ago about Ford potentially missing the euro6 dealine for the Tourneo (euro6 deadline for the Tourneo was a year earlier than vans?), so they were going to stick adblue on them for a few months until the 2.0 engine was available. This is the first proof of it though.

Fair play :-)

So 2.2 e6 is the same engine as 2.2 e5 Ford puma but the adblue system has been added (retro fit)? Are the bcm/pcm the same? I guess it will be if it uses Siemens fuel system?

2.0 is complete different system?

My Oil change light has come on at about 4 months after purchase, having done only about 4,000 miles.

Have just booked it into my local Transit Centre and they admit there is an issue Ford are aware of.

They say they will carry out a PCM software upgrade, and an Oil and Filter change all covered under warranty. However they also admit that this may not be a permanent solution, and Ford are aware of the issue and are working on a permanent fix.

I will keep you updated/

PCM update done, Oil and Filter changed, Garage also saying that I need a new different dip stick! Go figure.

I dont know if the bcm/pcm are the same in the mk7-mk8, but yes the 2.0 is a completely different system, even the location of the ancillaries are totally different, turbo is to the left of the head instead of the alternator on the 2.2

Mine is a 66 2.0 Euro 6 lump. I have had 3 diff updates. Addblu wiring harness change New dipstick and 3 oil changes. I now have exhaust overload ssues. Add blue system failures service lights and engine management lights on. It's been in Ford's under warranty every time no1 fixes. It always comes out with more problems than when it went in. It went in2 limpmode today with service exhaust filter now.
Previous updates were to prolong oil changes due to dpf regenerating 2 often and contaminating dpf
Looks like the damage is already done

The 2.2 euro 6 just has the adblu system retrofitted, the new 2.0 engine is psa dw engine. Yes?
Or is the puma 2.2 with euro 6 modified extensively?
