Thanks for reply reckless road yes I've been looking at furrows when they had two twin wheel jumbos in stock they were x Ford but by the time I made my mind up to go and see them thay had sold one and one was under offer but not completely confirmed as sold as the buyer had to sort out he's financing I set off to see the van and had arrange for the salesman to let me know if the sale whent thro he would let me know so I cud turnaround and not go 120 mls to see a van that had been sold which he did thay seem like a decent dealership to deal with . As for big van world I can't get my head round the fact that they have a £199 + vat arrangement fee to buy a van off them seems strange .good luck hope the van your are after is spot on and you get a good deal.

i went to see the van today and it has some damage on the roof of all places , looks like the last owner went under a low barrier or something and has scrapped the roof but they have agreed to have it repaired and after a bit of bartering they have knocked £1000 off so all is good , I pick it up next Saturday ,I love the colour its magnectic grey and really looks amazing , I had a drive in it and all feels good but it should being only 1 year old and 18,000 miles on it, I avoid the big van world as to me there vans are knocked about cheapies they pick up at auction , they have a trend l4 on their ebay at the moment for £13,995 and they have changed the pictures , the old pictures showed the repairs up really bad on the passenger side ,on the new pictures they show a few pics of the drivers side but only one cleverly angled pic of the passenger side but you can still see the paint difference on the panel above the door

Isn't it worth getting a new one. I just spec one for myself L2H2 350 trend with few extras just over 19k plus vat.
My mate just got his 330 L3H2 trend and spec for the same money.

went on my first delivery today in my new mk8 ,did 520 miles , drives fantastic , smooth ,quiet and I got 38mpg which is the same as in my mk7 jumbo, not sure if its me but the drivers arm rest seems a little to close if that makes sense ? like I have to tuck my arm in to rest on it ,the one thing which isn't so great although it may be cause its all shiny and new is the plastic floor mat in the back , great for cleaning/washing etc but I had 3 pallets on today and the were literally sliding round the back of the van even on the slightest of corners ,they moved that easily that when I came to unload I just simply pushed them to the back of the van with ease and they were 300kg each

the difference in price from a l2/l3 to a l4 is a good few £1000s, there are plenty of l2/l3s for sale l4s are like gold dust in trend spec

That is the cash price you don't have to do finance. You pay a £500 deposit then pay the rest when you collect the vehicle, or you can have it delivered to you. My mate picked his up and made the rest of the payment on the day.
They are a massive company and from what I see don't get much better than that.
I be getting my one off these people as other companies what 21-22k plus vat for the same van
