I can appreciate that cornish (or his employer) have zero control over ordering a replacement engine, but it's quite obvious from reading this tale of woe they have failed to take ownership of the situation & communicate what there expectations are & have a contingency plan for when it looks to be going wrong.

I've spat the dummy out on more than one occasion in a service reception....you either get what you want, when you want it or use another dealership/Independent garage/ DIY.... £90 in transporter costs instead of being sat on your useless ass blaming someone else.

You have got to much spare time on your hands old son

If someone works an afternoon shift (typically 2pm~10pm, with overtime before or after their normal hours) or works a night shift (typically 10pm~6am, with overtime before or after their normal hours) what time do you "think" they should post on a forum :?:

It's a retorical question - I don't need a reply :!:

Tuesday is a good day for getting the van back....I'd have a preference for avoiding the "Wednesday Woe" others suffer.

Picked it up last night.
At least it drives but they failed to cure the fuel gauge but only had it 14 weeks so probably not enough time.
Drives better than it ever did from new as will now take off forwards or backwards without having to give throttle and slip clutch.
Will even go backwards up a slope with no throttle input at all.
Never did that from new so assume faulty injector from day one and ending up cutting hole in piston and then dumping all through all orifices.
After telling us they were waiting for engine it looks like it went back and was rebuilt as it is definitely not a new.
As long as it lasts it will be good enough.
Had the pleasure of driving a new FWD panther engined transit for 5000 miles and seemed a lot more economical than mine and was returning over 30 mpg all the time where as mine averages around 25.7 0ver 26000 miles needed adblue at 2800 miles
