Improving the Ride

I have a 2016 15 passenger 350 XLT (US) now with about 36,000 miles on it.
The ride is much more harsh and truck like now than it was when I first drove it new off the lot. I'm looking for recommendations on what to do to improve the ride. What are the conversion van companies doing to these to improve the ride? Is it just simple struts and springs? Or are they doing more? Does going to a larger rim and wider tire help?
