The Wrong Fuel

Postby kevcon » Tue Aug 08, 2017 10:33 pm

Made a mistake at BP today.
Managed to put in £30 of no ultimate. Bollocks £1.30 a litre I thought.
Payed and started he'd up and to my surprise. It had totally transformed the van. Quiter, smother, felt freer and more pokey. The transit really wanted to zip along. Fuel economy seamed to be up as well.

Know trying to come to terms with the idea of filling up with ultimate every time.

I use Diesel Rhino additive, has cetane improver, lubricant (modern diesel doesn't have sulphur like it used to have as a lubricant) it also has an injector cleaner. It makes standard diesel similar to if not better than premium diesel but works out cheaper.
