hello carl here just looking for some info , today at ten i am having my pride n joy remapped .ive rang a few places and have said it will take a few hours to remap and are charging from 250-500 removing the ecu its SID208 with one guy from wakefield saying he can remap without taking the ecu out via my OBD port , i just dont know what to make of it all as all the others have said it is totally impossible to remap via OBD

Most people on hear use vantuner Martin x on hear try him he's the best

ive had it done now , never been as happy . its now 180hp from 100hp +110nm and was reprogrammed by the diagnostic port ,it goes to show some companies will go as far to call others in the same profession lairs just because they cant do it the same way . funny thing is i called back and told them its programmed they still said impossible its the placebo effect , like i cant feel that my 2013 transit pulling like a train ,

8) so you had it on a dyno before and after to get those figures ?

I have played the dino game before , regardless of what power the car/van gets the tuners will make it say anything they want to if its not getting the power they quoted . also when my van was made, ford didnt dino every engine they may have only done a few then same file for the model is programmed on to 1000s . its the same with tuning the engine , the stage one retune is for vans then have not had a upgraded engine parts . i think the other companies who needed to remove the ecu and take half a day dont have the correct tools for the job and want to charge you for the privilege . another got back to me after i had it tuned he wanted 550 qiudddddd and was a full days job
