Diesel heater fuel system

I have aftermarket Webasto dieselheter in MY2015 Transit whitch get fuel from car tank.
Can I install air heater fuel intake with T-connector beetween Webasto fuel pump and tank?

I wouldn’t personally as I’d be worried whether it would affect the pressure.
You should be able to buy a kit where you can drop your tank and fit a drinking straw type kit which eberspacher made for the Mk7 Transit.
I’d of thought it would be a similar set up for a Webasto.
Try Hickleys in Taunton,I’ve always found them very helpful.

Now with A 5 pot Beast.......I started off with nothing and I still got most of it left...!!

When I fitted mine all I did was lower the tank to get to the sender unit on it was a plastic standpipe you just cut the very top of it off to revel the hole the standpipe and then just fit the fuel flex pipe on to it i did not need the drinking straw as mentioned in last post as Ford had fitted to sender unit .i know some have teed into the engine fuel line and had no problems but I preferred not to it’s just another place to get air in the system and with the pipe in the tank not going right to the bottom of the tank you will not end up running out of fuel.
The mk4 ex BT van heater was teed into the fuel line and it did run out of fuel once forgot to turn off timer whe left at work for a week

funny you say this as a tyre van i went to the other day :!:

the cog light comes on, but only when the compressor is running and taking fuel from the fuel tank :roll:

its strange isnt it

the compressor feeding its self from the tank and you get the cog light on
