Van is a14 reg 2.2 trend rwd .service light came on last week,changed oil and filter,reset the service indicator job done ,started van yesterday ,engine service warning came up on dash,reset again and was fine all day ,same thing happened today .anyone got an answer

It’s a fault I’m pretty sure there’s a recall on them, something to do with a different dipstick.

The recall for the dipstick is for the 2.0 engine in the custom

It's says, engine service now ,and after reset it says ,service reset complete. Hope this helps

Engine service means that there is a fault, how do you reset it? By pressing the pedals?

Reset it by pressing the brake and accelerate down then turn ignition on,what for reset message,turn off and leave for as long as possible.

That way your not resetting the code that is there because of the fault, your resetting the oil service reminder. Two completely different things. Have it read by a code reader to determine which codes are stored.
