"change engine oil" message

Postby KevofCov » Sun Aug 12, 2018 6:51 am

I started to get this message after 6000 (motorway) miles. I ignored it and changed the oil at 10,000 miles as usual but the message still appears. The van can reset the warning that I've left a door open so why doesn't it sense that theres fresh oil and reset the oil warning? (synics would say it generates footfall for the Dealer).
Can I reset it? - press all pedals, turn on the wipers and turn the key 3 times or something similar...

Yes you can. Search on you tube. Depends on year and etc.
