My snapon tool chest is located there:-)

So to recap, i need some extra weight in the back and something to counteract my arms and the effects the steering wheel.? Hmmm it's on the tip of my tongue the perfect solution i can feel it........

When I worked for alfasound I used to drive from Manchester to Bath everyday In a jumbo LT35/crafter fully loaded going was a nice drive but coming back empty the van was a bloody nightmare, any slight wind and it was all over the place or was that cos I was tired by 10am  N

Loot, check that your track rods are straight, although the alignment is ok, a bent one might give the symptoms you are experiencing.

I did straighten the left 1 but it may be a whisper out, (not overly critical to me given that they are service items but I plan to replace it possibly both as an overkill) I'll see if it helps :-)

A seized/ tight suspension or steering ball joint would give you the symptoms

I'm glad it isn't me :-)

I can confirm that everything is loose/smooth i remember thinking surprisingly freed off for 4800 miles on the clock :? But then being a hilti van i expected similar use to a post van.

Only bothers me on long runs and nobody says that they feel any different as passengers so it is literally hope i lean on the wheel minor corrections to follow the road.
