What is it, and what can I do or replace it with?

Postby King Dodo » Mon Oct 16, 2017 5:24 pm

What is the rubbery thing next to the vent? It seems to want to come out was enough, just abit of an odd shape.

It's to stop your phone flopping over.

Ok thanks got a phone holder that fits in the CD slot as is upside down when charging it in that slot, and seems a snug fit for an iPhone, would a galaxy or any of the iPhone + fit in it.
Does anyone else use it for anything else?

That slot is the product of many meetings, the highly skilled, forward thinking innovation of design engineers....F@&k knows what phones they use, probably fisher price pull along.
mines a coin slot with magnetic phone mount above also feed the wires from the equally well designed junk draw above the clocks..

Its styling you know
If it worked perfect all good, but look like a turnip
It would be wtf is this that looks like a turnip in my van that holds my phone ?
bloody ford
And another thing my phone is too big to fit in that slot and too heavy to be held by a magnet
So What I do is get 2 hollowed out turnips and piece of string ,2 lesbians some j y Kelly and a carton of umbongo

It's meant to be a phone holder, iPhones fit fine.

+1 for a coin slot

Can't imagine any modern day phones fitting into it - maybe if you're going Nokia 3310 retro stylee!

If you buy a Brodit phone mount (expensive but good), it clips into the edges of the existing 'phone holder', leaving a bit of space for small odds like Screwfix pencils.
