As a courier I’m finding that the bridgestones I have fitted are scrubbing bald on the front shoulders very quickly.
I know that this is mainly due to the constant stationary lock-to-lock action necessary in my job.
I was wondering if you guys knew which make/brand of tyre has a harder compound of rubber? I know this won’t stop the problem but might prolong it a bit?
I've got Vanco 2s, I can't remember how many miles each set has done, but all of them have worn very evenly across the tread, about 3 pair's in 85K miles with a fully loaded van in a rural area seems good to me.
Ok I had this on Bridgestone 18’s. Only managed 14k on them.
I now have Falken and they are much better for grip. The sidewall seems to be less able to roll over.......I run 55 front and 52 rear. No scrubbing at all in 2.5 k on them.
