No longer permitted to fit HID bulbs to halogen H/Lamp units

If you wish to use HID then you should replace halogen headlamp unit for a HID headlamp unit

so it should be too! Loads of people here fitting HID bulbs into halogen units, which usually results in light being scattered everywhere, blinding oncoming drivers. My Mondeo had HID bulbs fitted to the halogen headlight units when I bought it. I replaced them with halogen bulbs, and they are at least as good as the HID bulbs, if not better. Factory HID headlights are great, but Chinese bulbs (or any HID bulbs) fitted into halogen units are a no go! They were not designed to work together.

Does that also include the LED bulbs, some of them are just as bright and dazzling, There's going to be some very unhappy people facing large bills to get DPF's and EGR valves replaced, some cheap second hand vans will be almost worthless.
