The front hinges are adjustable but once you start be very careful or you'll be all to cock. Is the door sagging a bit or what?

It just sticks out a little at the handle end .The door is not flush with the rear quarter panel.Normalt you would adjust the striker in a little but it is fixed.

There are 2 Torx bolts on the striker, slacken them and move it in a smidge. If there isn't enough adjustment you may have another problem, has the door blown too far open at some time?

Mines was much the same, also wasn't flush with wing and sounded crap when opening/closing....
Needed new hinges and check strap....only about £30 for the parts.

I profiled both front and slide doors on my bus.

On the cab doors I just slackened off the striker bolts and then gently tapped it in/up/down till I had the exact 'shut' and 'profile' I wanted.

having the same problem with my driver side door (left front door) the door is moving when driving with rubber rubbing noise . when i push against the door the noise is gone. so my thinking was to set the catcher 1mm furter inwards..

when loosening the 2 torckx bolts i also notice that the nuts on the backside are stuck, maybe welded on the inside? but no movement possible...

someone has solution found?

thanks,

greetings

I've just reset my 2020 Custom front door in wards about 1mm to try to stop the squeaky sound. The catch plate bolts need to be backed off. I noticed that there was no free play in the bolt body threads, but it simply needs a firm tap inwards. I wrapped the end of a screw driver with tape and used a lump hammer to get it to move, then retightened the torx bolts. I think the plate with the threaded bosses in will be in the body during painting and may just get a bit stuck. Just needs a firm tap.

The drivers front door on my 2015 Custom is ever so slightly catching the front wing and rubbing the paint,
does anyone know if there is any adjustment in the doors and how to do it? Or are new hinges the way to go?
I want to catch this before it gets any worse and damages the door and wing badly
Thanks in advance

That 1mm adjustment of the striker inwards has almost irradicated the itchy squeak sound. Good result. Will adjust in a little more.
