Fuel spitting out when filling up.

The new filler has arrived surprisingly now ... Just dropped it off so we wait with fingers crossed

Picked the van up and filled if up and they have resolved it , even had a follow up call from ford uk ! Top marks for polar ford Barnsley and ford uk after a nudge

when i picked up van last week i filled it up and diesel went everywhere, filled up today and didnt have a problem at all. ?

no different station, but both BP. perhaps a nozzle issue, perhaps i managed to get nozzle further into filler neck. at least my phone ok. love the van.

There may be an issue with how you fill it but the tech had the same issue as me tbh so Christ knows

Filled up again and all good ( at the pump it pissed out of too )
New phone mic is still poo so I'm convinced its the phone tbh
Paint on the bonnet is very very thin ... It's littered in chips after 3k miles

New revised filler tube fitted today and so far perfect

Hi yes it's happens every time I fill up! Lets see if the paint guarantee covers this problem!!
My local ford dealer said its common and you have to listen for the diesel coming up the tube? As its always quiet when filling up! He also said once its clicked once it then shoots down the overflow which intern floods the forecourt. That's sounds brilliant especially as I'm also a biker!!

Tell the dealer he is talking sh*t and that there is a modified filler pipe from Ford.

They have to check the chassis number to see if mine is one of the bad ones!!

so far i have filled up 5 times, and 3 out of 5 have had no problem. got a call from my ford dealer and told me that when i take van in for its check up in september they are going to do somthing to the filler as there is a modifiaction. i havnt even called them about it. thats nice i thought of them.
