Also like the way the cornering lights both come on when selecting reverse gear. Gives you a lot more of a wider visibility when reversing. Well thought out.

I didn't know they did that. Sounds good, though I am struggling to see what the purpose is when you're going backwards...

So you can keep an eye on where the front is going if you're reversing around a corner?

Yeah does sound weird coming on in reverse but try it, makes a big difference with visibility

Exactly. Not a good look, especially on a Sport

The main beam/drl bulb is an H15 (dual filament), so no upgraded bulbs are available :(

I've just seen these H15 'upgrade kits' on eBay, but they don't look totally convincing...

I saw those, not sure how much they'd reduce the main beam output though, might be worth a try though as they're cheap.

I don't think I'll bother, even at £15. They might be ok when the bulbs are on, but they're going to make the lights look BarryBoy blue when the van's parked.

Please someone check what is the reference number (the number next to the (E) mark) of the headlights? My Custom is still on the way but I might buy some extra headlights already and need this information due to legal purposes. Thanks!

I have a limited with the projector style headlights. HID kit fitted about a month ago and WOW what a difference, seriously. Yup, the dipped beam is great anyway, but get yourselves one of the HID kits from www.hids4u.co.uk, I got these >>> http://www.hids4u.co.uk/H7-55w-Ultimate ... 7ULT3.html

Best for light output are the 5000k ones, anything higher and they look chav blue and the lumens output is slightly lower.

These are so good at night, I very rarely find myself using full beam! And no, there are no problems whatsoever with regards to the beam pattern and dazzling any other drivers, they are perfect. :)
