It's really too slippery. I transport lots of heavy plastic boxes and/or domestic appliances and they keeping sliding about every time I accelerate or brake.
It does however not rattle. And I think it's very durable too. Just not what I need.

Ah fair enough :-)
My snap on tool. box is strapped down and my piss pot:-)
I don't have the plastic thing tho as it is hilti it has a grey thick board down which looks like some sort of composite or modified ply wood or something but it's probably similar to yours.

Well that's another reason I want the wooden floor, you can screw things to it without having to pierce the metal bottom.

Is the plastic just unloved because it is slippy?
Does it rattle and stuff?

I fitted a cheap glued carpet. Being a Gas/Electrical guy many of my boxes inside are stacked and not dragged about. Works OK for me.
Just remember to expose the spare wheel release gromit when you carpet

I see you're using Raaco Assorter Boxes, do they fit as a standard in those cupboards?

Tourneo's have carpet.

OK, didn't realise it was a Tourneo. I wonder how easy it would be to retrofit a carpet in my van. I hate the plastic mat.

Limited spec double cabs have carpet in them. Perhaps U could fit one of them. They are 2 part so should fit as the rear is a different carpet

Its not too difficult to change to carpet seats out ect however id be embarrassed to say how much i have just paid to change from rubber flooring to carpet. Be warned though if they sell you 1 piece of flooring its not enough you need the front piece and the piece which goes acrosst the van under the seats.
One thing I did notice stright away was the noise reduction was massive

In a hurry to get to chester today so i drove it like i stole it, bloody thing is slow and boat like, and when going round a slight bend at Max legal road speed i think that the steering is going to stop working and i have to resist slamming on the instant death pedal.
I stalled it mid hill launch assist but it stayed running just about

I move off in 2 or 2 and the pedal is deed and the revs drop right down, training today and it was all i could do to manage an angry wheel spin :?

Deffo need a snowflake to drive when I'm in a hurry

Needs a remap and Stiffer tyres/suspension me thinks.
