looks good, lots of storage.

mine is here viewtopic.php?f=65&t=163691

the sink unit fits on slotted hooks and a bit of bunji cord to keep it held down on hooks, the power for the pump is piggy backed through a fuse from the power socket in the rear and is on a plug/socket, so this can lift out as a unit in seconds. the black box to the right is a fridge box which plugs into the 12v socket at the rear of the van.

Had the Euro 6 van about 6 months now and it was ceramic coated from new , I've just applied a topper coat on it and clay barred it prior to this and it pulled very little contaminants off it ... very impressed

210W solar panel installed

Postby botacco » Mon Jan 30, 2017 2:14 pm

Just installed a solbian semi flexible 210w panel (CV210) and victron blue solar MPPT to charge the leisure battery during camping.

As all my mods, the basic idea was to have a 100% reversible. I didn't want to drill the roof, glue the panels neither to use the roof-bar holes to avoid any water issues and therefore I decided to glue the panel to a 10mm polycarbonate panel.

I installed a plastic cable rail below the panel, to keep the distance from the roof and help the MC4 connectors.

Finally I wrapped the borders with aluminium tape, just for aesthetical reasons.

The panel produces 6w @ 13.00 (Jan. 30th) with no sun and 45W under the sun... I hope will be better this summer...

I will fix cables this spring, as soon as the temperature will be higher than 16 degrees (the glue and any adhesive tape are not working below 16C)

And here is the mess... I am going to organize the cables better in an electric plastic box this week Image

Changed rear pads.
3 pads at 4mm
1 pad at 0.5mm and its one without a sensor.

Bit of a pain aligning pin on back of pad with slot in caliper piston face.

Mileage of 36K miles, but inner city work

Disabled global unlock from door lock

Postby stchris356 » Mon Feb 27, 2017 11:50 pm

I disconnected the global unlock from the drivers door lock so if some scum bag decides to hammer a screwdriver in the door lock, or pick the lock, it won't unlock the whole van!
