Can you still double press the unlock buttons to open the back.

What you need to do is remove the driver's door card, no need to disconnect anything, just let it hang by the wires.
Carefully peel back the membrane (I used a Stanley blade to cut the sealant so you can re-stick it) to expose the black multi plug for the door lock module.
Peel back the black tape on the connector when removed, to expose the wires.

Cut the second wire up on the plug (viewed in it's connected position), insulate the wires, reconnect and refit the membrane and door panel.

Everything works exactly the same on the van except when you unlock the door with the key, only the driver's door will unlock and the rest of the van remains deadlocked and alarm (if fitted) still armed, the alarm will be triggered when the door is open but can be silenced by turning the ignition on.

Operation with the fob buttons is exactly the same.

In essence, what you have done is disabled the global unlock signal from the driver's door lock.

Got home at 6 to find my Ford floor mats had been delivered so spent half an hour fitting them.

Not too sure about cutting the original mat for the fixings to go in. Doesn't seem that tough a material to me but time will tell.

Half an hour to fit a rubber mat
It Took me all bloody morning I had to take the fittings out of the mk7 and make the holes in the mats bigger to fit them because I am too tight to buy the mats with the fixings in
Filled it up 84 bloody shelkels bloody worth  :x
It says it can go 637 miles
Its going 498 miles tomorrow
So will it say 130 when it gets back to castle gay skull ?
That remains to be seen but I doubt it very much :o
