Anyone from a couple of years ago got these kits installed and still working?

Mine worked for two years faultlessly in my 2014 MY van.

I'm going to replace all the candle light bulbs at the front with Osram Night breakers apart from the main bulbs, they only do cool blue

i have already put in 2 LED park lights and that's an improvement

if they look better which I'm sure anything from standard has got to be better

if over time i feel they are not enough i will buy the HID kit coz I'm a rich fooker who just loves throwing dosh at things like this

Chelsea, from what we've seen, the early (before 2015?) vans are fine with the 35w HIDS4U kit. Whether later vans are different or the HIDS4U kit has changed, who knows.

I have them installed from early 2016, no problem.

only now with cold happen small bulb error on dash but fastly disappears and also the time to reach the max light power it is longer than before, I think it's normal.

someones with the same situation ?

Test for power before the HID kit if it is dead then you could be looking at getting the ecu reset at the dealers . I had this with mine as the ecu had some sort of built in electronic cut out gone are the days of just a fuse.

What part of the light would people put these in?

Dipped or high beam?

The reason I ask as my connect does not have the magnified lense, just the bulbs.

If I was to get HID, not sure, on dipped as I use it the most or high beam?

They're not suitable for the Connect, this is the Custom area of the forum.

Just a wee update on my issues -

HIDS4U sent out updated ballasts and (touch wood) they have been fine the past few weeks.

I may order a spare just incase though!
