A digital signal still needs an antenna to receive it so DAB def needs an arial of some sort and it is different to the FM one. I had good DAB reception in my Bongo van using a windscreen mounted one ( in addition to roof mounted FM). Maybe the latest arials have a combined system of some sort and if fitted with DAB this covers both . There is def no cable of any sort attached to my Kombi high top arial and so I may remove it and fit a blanking bung
