Squeaky seat!

TC has now done 1300 miles and all is well except for a squeaky drivers seat. It only squeaks when I push a pedal (no it's not the pedals) so I'm thinking it must be the seat base and not the seat back.

Has this proble occurred with anyone else? If so what cured it?

Mine has the same mileage and occasional squeaks as well I've not found a cure though
I have also noticed that the seat base some times shifts A little to either side around some bends.

mine squeaks as well when I put my foot hard down on the accelerator. I've just put it down to my arse when I think of the fuel its using!!

yeah same here, seems like the noise comes from the left side of my seat somewhere under the armrest

Convinced my seat shifts around now n then!

I took it back to the dealer on Friday and asked them to look at the seat.

They tightened up the frame bolts and it seems to have cured it!

They didn't chanrge me and they lent me a KA which I used for a round trip to Portsmouth (120) miles so I reckon I've saved £15 in Diesel.

Finger crossed the seat stays quiet now.

Check the seatbelt. If you can hear it squeak while you're driving, disconnect your seatbelt and see if it stops, if so there's a problem with the seatbelt socket where the red button is.

Iv just used some wd40 on the seatbelt socket and where its hinged bolt is and its stopped the squeaking!

I am a brit living in France, got a 2014 model, and my drivers seat creaks exactly the same. There is an annoying rattle above the passenger door and my Sync radio has been back to garage 4 times as it doesn't work, no bluetooth hands free.now they dont know what to do and won't change the radio even though its less than a year old. Wish I'd never bought the damn thing, should have stuck to Citroen!
Sync radio is temporary fixed by pulling the fuse (no 37 under the dashboard) took seat out and oiled everything underneath. lets see, something above the door still rattles.... I hate this van... but god I do love it too!!

I have had this squeek since 600miles .... Just turn the radio up louder still not good for a new van though !!

I had this squeak with the leather recaro seat on a new a focus ST
( back in the day when they didnt look like any other focus) and the cheeky barsteward in the service dept suggested i lose some weight i told him it squeaked when the wife drove it as well and she is only 7 stone !

Exactly the same thing. WD40 in the seat belt socket and around it...

I could have sworn it was the clutch pedal etc

I also have a squeaky seat, hear it when braking , accelerating and going round roundabouts , seems to come from right / rear of seat

Mine squeak on sideway moves like sharp turns etc. I will try WD40 method.
