Has anyone talked to a dealer about the euro 6 + ACC?
Is there a new ACC unit coming out?
My dealer is having a go on Tuesday and see what needs to be done in order to make it work (or not).

update on previous post - I'm finding having it set on 24/25 gives me steady heat ( not too hot ) for this weather 10/15 d outside. With the heated seat it's cosy.
sometimes it too hot and turning it to 22/23 helps . Any lower and I feel cold air at my feet

Problem now is my air con unit is knackered , for the last 7k there been a squeak when driving and I thought it was the racking in the back but it's the air con when it engages. This week I can hear the bearings in it rattling. FYI - bought the van in April and done 18K

Have you find a solution for the ACC on Euro6?

Don't bother waiting for this for euro 6. I have euro 5 and this thing is crappiest stuff Ford have ever sold to me and I've driven two decades Ford vehicles! I'm pretty much ready now for manual unit. With "automatic climate control" you need to touch the controls number of times more than you have to with manual dials. Plus at summer it may decide that you absolutely need more heat or vice versa. Bloody hell, few times I've thought that I will rip it away from dash and throw under next passing train. With manual controls, using aux heater always defrosted windows. Now? Not a chance.

Apparently there is now again new updated version available. Ford refuses to do anything prior testing this new unit as well. Local Ford service (who already have declined to install more these) said they tested one but it was only barely better... Suppose I have to test this one too, but today I'm at the point where I get enormous joy out of smashing this into small pieces. After that, I will get the manual controls back (it's already waiting on shelf).

Hi guys

Anyone tried to fit this kit to Transit Connect?
At least we don't have issue from LHD RHD :)

The panel itself looks exactly the same I wonder, why would Ford bother with different version of these?
Also I don't have AC in the car, would it work without creating error codes? (o/c I do not expect it to blow icey air from the ducts, only to regulate the air within reason)

My Custom is 2014 and i have retrofitted myself Wölfle automatic climate contol. Noticed when using park heater with the timer, the climate fan doesn´t work at all. If i start it up with eberspächer keychain remote the fan starts normally with the heater. This is my first winter driving custom so i´m not sure would it be same with the original manual climate panel or is there some problem with the retrofitted Wölfle?

Also i´ve been thinking, does the Wölfe open up warm water valve to max open when the cars interior are cold but engine preheated and warm? Feels like it should blow more hotter air inside. Outside temp here in finland is between 0c and -7c now so the conditions are not so extreme yet. In february it might drop even to -30c so i think i might get cold in my custom if the deal is that :D

I appreciate I'm ressurecting an old post, but wondered how people had got on with these over the longer term?

I've always had automatic climate control on my car's, and miss it on my van.

But it's a lot of money, especially if it doesn't work very well.

Thanks in advance.

on cold days it works for a bit but doesn’t maintain temp, after a while just blows cold no matter the temp unless you turn it up higher than what it is reading - like to 27

for hot days it is fine

don’t bother with the light sensor and waste cutting a hole in your dash
