In this case I would go for the VB air suspension... nearly 4K but you can lower the custom as much as needed, specially in low-roof parking...

Interested in a one stop solution to stiffening things up a little ;).

Googled H&R and didn't come up with much to go on. Don't want to make the van look like van is carrying a load of compost , but the one thing I noticed coming from an MK7 to my custom was the feeling of lolling through corner.

However I do run close to my max payload most of a lot of the time.

From earlier in the thread, viewtopic.php?f=65&t=159630&start=135#p1469783 and it rides very nicely.

Seikokid your custom is sitting just right!

Have you got replacement front and rear dampers plus the lowered coil springs for the front and the re profiled rear leafs from midland springs?

Cheers Tom

Seikokid, your custom is sitting just right!

After reading through the thread do you have upgraded dampers for both the front and the rear? Then the lowered coil springs from Coil Spring UK and the re-profiled leafs from Midland Springs?

Cheers Tom

Hallo Seikokid,

Could you tell me (us) were you've bought those Shock Absorbers or which Brand they are? Can you select the dampening whith the knob on them?

Edit: just found the Brandname; they are from " GAZ". But exactly which type are they?

Hello guys,

I think I’ve got some interesting info for you. I found a company in the Netherlands and the can modify the standard leaf springs for you. Max modification while lower the van about 50mm. Total cost is about 45 euro. That's without shipment. The need your stock leaf spring, or another set, because they are not able to dismount them themselves.

Company info:
Eeltink
Lijnbaan 66
1969 NG Heemskerk
The Netherlands
Tel +31(0)251 230640
Fax +31(0)251 242396
E-mail info@eeltink.nl
Internet http://www.eeltink.nl

And thanks to Meyer automotive there is also a company who can supply an adjustable shack with coil. See: http://en.intraxracing.nl/merken/ford/t ... k2-bt-arc/ But these are a bit expensive. “Speed with Guy Martin” used them on his van!
A talked with them and they also are able to make a lower spring for us. First price is about 450€ for a set, but can drop when the ask for these go up (think of a group buy).
The need first a stock spring for 4 weeks (testing I think) and a transit custom van for 1 hour to measure things. You don’t want the spring have any clearance when the car is lifting!! I don’t know the max drop.
The also deliver a adjustable coil for the rear, with or without spring

Company info:
Donald Molenaar
Intrax
Leeuwstraat 68
5408 PL Volkel
Tel: +31(0)413 272997
Fax: +31(0)413 273319
Mail: info@intrax.nl
Site: http://www.intrax.nl
I’m not able to go there. I don’t have a transit custom yet. But have some time to surge for nice parts I want in the future.

Good luck with it

Surely anywhere that repairs leaf springs would be able to take a bit of bend off for you ?
We used the bloke in banner bridge to repair them when I was a little girl
You know the one Just up behind the Indian restaurant off the main road ?

coil over not practical for commercial use - they will tell you that - ride is too hard . If you read the topic you can get front springs and shocks at Gaz , also i had Gaz design rear adjustable shocks
much much cheaper here in the UK,

in birmingham get your leaf springs done for £200 all in

nobody reads the posts and keeps putting up the same thing
