Looking for Transit Custom body kit

Postby Walt » Thu May 12, 2016 10:31 am

Hi guys and girls,
I'm new to the forum.

Have just bought a 2014 Transit Custom 270 Limited L1H2 in Silver and would like to put a body kit on it. I emailed Ford M-Sport to ask if their body kit was available but it unfortunately wasn't. I've also emailed Transporterland only to be informed that their body kits are not available to purchase either.

I've seen a couple of others online from Trade Van Accessories (TVA Sports) and Ford UK but they are too much like the Transit Custom Sport body kit. Also a front spoiler form VS Sport but not a body kit.

I'd like a kit with front apron spoiler, rear lower spoiler and side skirts. Not fussy about the tiny wheel arch extensions supplied with the two mentioned above from TVA and Ford.

I've searched online but not came across anything decent. Can anyone help? :?:

I found this pic on a web search the other day. Not see one like this before. I couldn't find out what the spoiler was but thought it looked good. I don't want one, but if you did like it, give the company a call who are selling the van. It is just the front spoiler from what I could see. Web address is on the side of the van.

Edit - image is not great. Go have a look on http://www.topgearmotorsni.com

Thanks. I think this is the Vanstyle spoiler. They don't offer a full body kit - only front spoiler and rear roof spoiler.

There arnt any putting it simple.
M sport won't sell,
That stupid rs bodykit by transporter land won't sell.
Or sport body kit if u want to buy original for 2.5k

Wheels are a few different types, that's it.

Basically if you want something, make it yourself if your able or get someone to make it.

It's not a vw with a million options.
There are a few and most of them naff.

But that's the price you pay for not buying a sh*te vw.

If u do find anything though, post it up.

Have you seen the Ford dress up kit, I saw a magnetic Colour van with it fitted it looked ok ish....lighter colours would look a bit like the shitreon cactus....painted it could look like a subtle body kit.

They charge £500 + VAT for factory fitment, I've ordered the parts for my new van via the parts department for £80 for front skid pan, I can't remember the cost of the arch covers but its wasn't £420, it's much cheeper to fit yourself
