Heated Seat

iv booked it into fords be interesting to see what they say.....

Tec at fords said its a faulty as inconsistent temp they are ordering whatever
it is under the seat cover under warranty

Ford garage changed the seat heater pod ( whatever that is) under warranty today all working fine
gets content heat

so it should be on constantly? I'll get mine changed if so.

As the heated seat on /off button is situated down on the seat base surround , you would think a light on the dash would tell you it's on!

Reasoning ? If passenger is a light headed and forgets to switch off their seat when they get out , the next time you drive away with no passenger , then the seat is still fired up.

Ford have overlooked this.

And what difference does it make if the seat heater is left on?

Left the van in today to get a few warranty issues sorted...asked them to have a look at the heated seat onie offie. Interesting to see what they do?

Any info on cost of this?
My passenger seat has 14v at the base and at the back connectors but the seat doesn't get warm. I'm out of warranty so wonder if it will cost the earth for them to fit new pads.
