obd lock

Postby db71 » Wed Jan 04, 2017 6:39 pm

I'm think about fitting one of these for a bit of extra protection to my van.

the ones listed on eBayhttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Custom-O ... 2337084322
state that one of the panels needs modifying.

Has anybody fitted one to their custom?

how easy and what had to be cut?

It's a new van and I don't want to cut all of the plastic cowling into bits.

It's far cheaper to move the proper one out of the way and fit a dummy in its place

I've thought about doing this but don't to even want to give the dealers a chance to wriggle out of any future warranty issues.

I put my OBD in one of these, cut a slot for the wiring.

Any actual pics Andy. It only needs to delay them from plugging in to it until the alarm activates, hopefully Ill then hear it going off :?

does it fit under or over the obd panel?

Go for the bigger one, more room:

Also fit dead locks on the side and rear doors.
