How to remove drivers door panel to replace lock with hykee

Window switch hooks under the door panel at the front edge of switch.
Push a small screwdriver under rearmost edge of switch in the centre to release the retaining tang ,then prise it up carefully at rear edges.

I didn't have these instructions but there's another link on here was spot on. Only thing i found though was the horn sounded every time I turned the lock to attempt fitting. Luckily I got it within a few tries before the neighbours piped up! Lol.

I started this afternoon and it started pissing down as soon as I had the door inner off and the lock out.

One thing..... the horseshoe retaining clip off the rear of the barrel lock has a shiny metal side and a sponge side.
Which one goes towards the door?
I thought the sponge but it twists the lock out of level......

With rhe newmlock do you loose the facility of using the keyfob to open and lock the van, or do you lock it with a key

Kev you can still use the fob....it just stops toe rags picking it

Hi SR60.. i bought mine from http://www.garrisonlocks.co.uk/van-locks-and-security-products/transit-hykee-lock-upgrade for £79.50

One thing I will mention to anyone who is fitting one. There is a lug with a allen bolt through it on the Hykee cylinder.
It has to be removed and fitted again once it is in the door. It isnt on the instructions, I had to call Garrison about it
